I grew up in South Africa, but have been living in London for the last 6 years. For a long time now I've had a desire to explore off the beaten track and experience other cultures. Having realised there is never a time like the present, I've decided to take a career break and travel the length and breadth of Africa.

When I'm not dreaming of far-off lands, I work in London as a software engineer in the financial sector.

Since moving to the UK from South Africa, I have managed to juggle both my career as an organisational change consultant and my desire to travel. However, like many of my South African friends, I have yet to explore my own beautiful continent, and this trip will prove to be a great opportunity to do just that.
